Established in 1971, Womanline provides professional counseling services for adults, youth, and children, specializing in sexual abuse, domestic violence, trauma treatment and prevention. Since the collaboration with Family Services in December of 2016, Womanline restructured its service specialization to include domestic violence survivors, holistic trauma treatment, childhood trauma, and eating disorders.

Womanline’s mission is to provide high quality, affordable counseling services, especially those who have been abused, and to prevent abuse through educational programs.

Counseling Services

Womanline offers specialized, trauma-informed, confidential psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families. Womanline focuses on holistic therapy that treats the whole person by addressing the spiritual, physical, mental and emotional aspects of a person. Womanline focuses on serving individuals who belong to the following populations,

  • Survivors of Domestic, Intimate Partner and/or Sexual Violence

  • Survivors of Childhood Trauma

  • Survivors/victims of crime

  • Eating Disorders (If applicable, doctor care/dietitian may be required for eating disorders.)

Support Groups

  • Sexual Assault Survivor Support Group (SOSA)

    • Bi-weekly support group for adult survivors of sexual assault with online and in person options

    • SOSA Flyer

  • Referrals to additional support groups including

    • General mental health groups

    • Domestic violence survivors support groups

    • Eating disorder support groups

SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect) Program

SCAN utilizes the I Can Tell curriculum, which is a school and community-based program for Pre-K through 5th graders, aimed at reducing child sexual abuse. This free 30 minute program breaks down secrecy around abuse by teaching children they can tell an adult if they are feeling unsafe. 

SCAN now also provide sexual abuse prevention trainings for adults aged 18 or older by utilizing the Stewards of Children curriculum

Thank you to everyone who attended or supported the 49th Annual Womanline Fundraiser! The event was a huge success and surpassed our fundraising goal for the Womanline program.
