FSA FACTS
OF THE MONTH
Deafness and Hard-of-Hearing
affects an estimated 34 million people.
Community Services for the Deaf
(CSD) provides a wide variety of programs and services to help people who
are deaf or hard-of-hearing.
Services include, sign
language classes, sign language interpreting, C-Print, education about Deaf
culture and much more.
CSD also serves as a catalyst
to provide people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing links to other resources,
such as positive deaf role models and deaf friendly recreational events.
